Letters to Mrs. Claus is a kisses-only romantic comedy series, crafted by 12 talented authors, bursting with holiday cheer. Each delightful novella is a perfect cozy read, with each book being connected by Mrs. Claus and her Operation Mistletoe Match.
A meddling friend or family member sends Mrs. Claus a letter about someone who’s lonely, heartbroken, or closed off to love.
With her timeless wisdom, Mrs. Claus tailors heartfelt messages to the subject of the letter, offering an inspiring note that tackles their romantic roadblock. Packed with hilarious missteps, flustered blushes, and courageous adventures as they chase their happily-ever-after.
Every week for six weeks, two novellas will be released. As the person who keeps their Christmas tree up all year, it doesn't take much to get me feeling festive, but I'm ready to start taking hot chocolate and cookie breaks.

Here's a quick recap of the next two books in this series. WARNING: For anyone new here, there may be a few spoilers when I start talking books. Since I don't mind them, I forget that a lot of people do. 😬

This book introduces us to two characters with the greatest names that I've come across in this series: Romulus and Luna.
Romulus is a rookie quarterback in the NFL who is just happy to be here. He knows that he is only there because the starting QB was injured and the backup got bumped up, allowing space for him to be brought on as the new backup.
He is a complete baby adult who is fumbling his way through, as we all do when the training wheels of life officially come off. While his parents are out of town, his 17 year-old step-sister Tiffany is staying with him. Tiffany is every stereotype of a teenage girl rolled into one character, so Romulus comes off looking like a saint for putting up with her.
Luna is an accomplished interior designer, who always makes time to show up for the people she cares about, no matter how busy she is. A friend of hers recommends her to Romulus to design his apartment and the two do not get off on the right foot.
Romulus shows up late for his meeting with her, partially due to Tiffany, and Luna has left. She left a message for Romulus with the front desk manager that if he wants to keep working with her, he'll have to come to her office. I love that she stood up for herself professionally, as her time is valuable.
When the two finally meet, there is a mutual attraction. Luna has a clear cut rule about not dating clients, and lets Romulus know when he texts her. However, when he texts her about his lack of self-confidence, she can't help but to respond. When Tiffany goes full on brat and Luna almost walks off the job, she and Romulus go for a coffee and have a cute conversation about how ice cream flavors say a lot about a person.
The minute he isn't a client anymore, she shoots her shot. She thinks it falls flat because he mentions that it's something he and his sister usually do together, but he doesn't see it that way and is surprised that she ran off before he could say more.
Luna becomes the immature one in the situation and then just ghosts him for weeks. However, they both happen to end up at the same place for Christmas and in a scene good enough for Hallmark, these two crazy kids decide to give it a go.

I've been a fan of the Twin Waves crew from the beginning. This book brings us another member of the book club crew and all of the well meaning meddling town folk that Cindy has made me love.
This book is about Madeline, who runs Hensley's Beach Shack boutique. She has an ex who made her feel like she was too much, so she has started to hide in the background.
When we open the story, it's because of a Christmas cookie emergency. Madeline's grandma is attempting to make some cookies and let's say a fire breaks out. Firefighters are rushed to the scene, and fire chief Dean ends up with a broken leg from falling off a ladder.
Dean is usually in charge of being Santa and organizing all of the local festivities. He passes the mantle on to Madeline to make sure all of the holiday cheer goes off without a hitch. After all, she's been helping him run things for years ... in the background.
The biggest problem, who will play Santa? Enter Asher. Resident grumpy firefighter who is voluntold to step in.
As he and Madeline begin to work toward setting up for the holidays, sparks start to simmer. The two are very different in their approaches to life, but each having something the other needs to balance. With the help of Ellen, Chief Love Love Coordinator, and the rest of the town. the two manage to work through a tense public disagreement and find their way to an understanding.
This was a cute installment to the Twin Waves family and I'm not even more excited to see the remaining book club members get their happy endings!
