This book had me laughing from the start when Jericho finds Nora in his backyard after he moves in.
Nora is the quirky girl in town and Jericho starts referring to her as a witch after he found her in his backyard and she told him she was doing a full moon ritual in his yard because it got better light than hers. Their banter is too funny as Nora says things just to confuse him and when Jericho starts participating, I was swooning.
Both characters have some trust issues based on events that happened in their past, and the suspense of waiting for all of the air to clear had me sneaking in reading a chapter whenever I could. I love that even with his issues, Jericho would protect Nora at all cost and was willing to let everyone know that.
My favorite scenes in the book involved Nora and Jericho trying to catch Reginald the Rooster, who is apparently quite the free spirit. I hope to see more of Reginald in the future books in the series!
