The fact that I'm just getting around to the weekly recap shows you that time is slipping away from me very quickly. How is it almost April, already? Here's a couple of random updates on our lives:
- I have become slightly addicted to Yahtzee
- Kiddo is in her school production of Les Mis and rehearsals are an every day thing
- The Hungry Fam is planning a beach trip! As well as trying to finalize everything for our trip to London this summer
Here for the food ...
A snapshot of some of the top eats of the week:
- Pizza from Fat Boys - a Too Good To Go Order (only $5!)
- The Hannah Montana themed cookies from Caroline's Cookies
- Crawfish Tacos from Mestizo's
- Soup and Salad Bar from Jason's Deli
- Cheeseburger and fries from Dearman's
- Kid's chicken quesadilla meal from Pedro's
Here for the books...
Here are the four books I read this week:
- Kind Alpha - I LOVE this series about shifters being invited to the Bear Claw Inn by Franklin and finding their fated mates. They're quick to read and just make you feel good.
- In the Neutral Zone with My Best Friend - I received an ARC for this and it comes out April 2nd. It was such a cute story of a boy who has had a crush on his best friend forever while she is oblivious to it. HEA once she realizes she likes him too.
- The Hawthorne Legacy - Working my way through this series and the plot twists just keep coming!
- Don't Let Go - If Maya Alden writes it, I'm going to read it. Nobody does marriage in crisis and grovel quite like she does.
